One of the easiest objects to sketch on a human figure is the hair. No matter if you are drawing a real life person, or an animated character, learning how to draw hair is always a fun lesson to tackle. That is one of my favorite things to draw when I draw people. Sketching hair is something that is very versatile because there is so many hairstyles to choose from when starting a sketch. Some artists like to sketch hair first, and then move onto the eyes, nose, and mouth. I for one have to start a facial sketch with the shape of the persons face. After that I draw the eyes, and then the nose. One of the last things I draw is hair. In this section you will find that when you want to draw long hair, or curly hair, one thing remains the same, detail, and definition. Human hair is so incredibly unique looking, which means sketching the right type of style is imperative. I for one like to draw cartoon hair because all you have to do is draw an outline of a style, and add a few detailing lines to convey to the viewer that it is hair on the figures head. Over time this sub category will be filled with a bunch of tutorials on all sorts of hairstyles. If there is a style that you are looking for, drop a request, and you will see you're looking for very soon. In the mean time, have fun drawing hair.
