How many times have you sat there and tried to draw a face, person, or even the body of a figure? Sketching out or making people has got to be one of the toughest concepts to tackle when you want to create a drawing on someone you love, admire, or even hate. This section is made to teach anyone out there, "how to draw people for kids", step by step. I say 'for kids' because when making a tutorial that is simple enough for a child to use, your kind of giving it a name that best describes how easy it will be to replicate. For a long time I struggled with drawing people which is why I turned most of my attention to drawing fantasy creatures like trolls, dragons, and fairies. Before I started sketching out my own human figures, I worked on getting good with drawing anime characters first. This is because I felt it was easier to teach myself how to draw an animated character instead of a realistic figure. Once I became comfortable with myself as an anime artist, I began teaching myself how to draw people in the most primitive way. I followed some basic drawing books that taught me how to draw people in a very simplistic manner. Now because I know how hard this area is to cover, I wanted to make sure that all the young, and novice artists out there had a chance to teach themselves "how to draw people for kids" too. The best part about these tutorials is you don't have to pay to learn from them. I had to buy drawing books for a long time because there was no sites on the web that I could learn from back ten years ago. Now that there is, I want to make sure that Dragoart.com is a place that you trust. Just knowing that a member or visitor can find a tutorial on almost everything they want to draw, makes me feel like I'm serving a genuine purpose by providing my skills to teach others how to draw like a pro. Of course I'm no pro yet, but hopefully I'll get there someday. Have fun folks, and don't forget to tell me what you want me too add to this section on how to draw people for kids.
