Make two shapes, one for the head and another for the body. Sketch in the facial guidelines then draw the neck guide.

2

Begin defining the shape of Mr. Gus' head shape like so, then draw the eyes.

3

Add the eyelids and color in the pupils. Draw the sagging shape of his face, then draw in the thick lips as well as the teeth that peek through the mouth or lips. Don't forget to draw the nose and chin shape.

4

You will draw the odd shaped bone plates that flow down the back part of the head and neck, then cap off the neck shape and add the scales.

5

You are almost done people. Draw the torso and arms, followed by the hands.

6

Lastly, draw the shirt line and add the muscle tone to the arms, and chest, then add some more scales and draw the legs. Erase the mistakes when you are done.

7

Here is the line art folks. Now you can color in Mr. Gus.
