How to Draw Marcie

We will begin by drawing the outline of her face like so. It sort of looks like a coffee cup.

Using the face shape, draw in her short hairstyle which is very plain and simple.

You will now draw her eyes in the form of her void eyeglasses. Then draw in her nose and a dash for the mouth.

Up next, draw the shape of her small neck and as you can see it flows into a bell shape which will be her torso.

Marcie's arms are almost always behind her back when she is just standing. Draw the sleeves and arms like so.

Add the stripes across the shirt, then draw in the legs, shoes and socks. If you made mistakes erase them now.

And that's all there is to drawing Marcie from the Peanuts Gang. Color her in and have fun tackling more of the crew.

Description: The next three lessons will be on some popular Charlie Brown characters that you will see in the upcoming 2015 release of the Peanuts movie. As you know there are about almost a dozen figures from the comic strip. This tutorial will show you "how to draw Marcie", step by step. Unlike some of the other characters from Charlie Brown, Marcie doesn't have a last name, or at least I never heard of her having one. She has black hair, wears an oranage colored shirt and her best friend is Peppermint Patty. I guess you can say that Marcie also serves as the "brains" from the gang, but there are other smart characters as well. Drawing Marcie from Charlie Brown is going to be as easy as saying 1, 2, 3.
