How to Draw Flies

Firstly before you want to draw a fly, maybe it would be a helpful extra, if you know, what's about his anatomy. The first four page will be about the fly anatomy for the beginning.

After his outfit, now you can see him inside anatomy. Now most important, when you draw them, just for the interest.

Here you can see his/her head anatomy, you can see the differents. Well, it's not important if you draw them as little ones on your picture, but if you want to draw them in bigger size, it could be helpful.

And now, here are the fly in the upper view. Now you can see, that their wings how fit for their body.

And now, just your choice, that wich one, what you would like to draw, here some tip and type for the fly drawing. Can you believe how many forms, what they have got?

And for the last extra page, here the fly's life, you can see well where they start, how they envolve in their life.

Let's start the "How to draw Fly" part! Now, start to draw the base lines. This is helpful, that you can draw the base form of the body.

For the first part, draw the base form of his head!

And now, draw his big eyes on his head!

As the next step, draw his little "mouth" on the picture.

And now with some little line, draw details on his head, and finish this part of the drawing.

The next bigger step is, draw the base form of the "thorax".

With some line you can draw some details for the thorax part, and this will be the finishing piece in this part of the drawing.

And now, draw the next bigger part, the "abdomen" base form.

With some little or bigger details, you can finish the adbomen part of his body.

And now, here we are, the legs. It's seems like difficult to draw, but if you can see, these are just from 3 part, and you don't need to draw them well, if you don't want to be in perfect fly anatomy :)

And for the last part of the fly drawing is the most important part: the wings. You can see well how you can draw to fit for his body. As their wings are transparent, you don't need to erase the body lines.
