How to Draw a Sport Bike

1

The first thing we need to do is draw those guidelines and shapes to help create a workable frame for our bike and rider. She is laid out spread on top of the bike so the figure will be drawn laying down.

2

Let's begin by sketching out some of the profile of the rider's face. This is the nose, eyebrow and closed eye. You will also need to sketch in her mouth as well.

3

Her head and face is completely hidden almost by the helmet. Go ahead and draw the bike helmet as you see it done for you here. It's just your typical riders helmet.

4

I drew in some decal on the helmet. You can choose to do the same design, or be creative and draw in your own.

5

We will start with the upper body now for your rider. Begin by drawing the padding inside the helmet that supports the face. When that is done you can draw the arm which is raised up and around the top of her head as she is lounging on the bike. When

6

We will now add some designing to her top. Go with what you like, I chose some bolts of sorts.

7

Next, every rider who is paid out across the bike wearing a helmet needs hair coming out of the helmet right? So go ahead and draw in some of her long wavy locks draping over her arm.

8

Let's get her midsection drawn in next. This is the belly and some of her hips. She is wearing a bikini bottom so you will need to draw in the ties for the bottom as well which rests on her hips.

9

The only thing you have to do here is draw in her hand which is from the opposite arm and that is just resting on her elbow.

10

Go ahead and draw in her long legs and feet. She is a nicely toned rider so be sure to draw her in that way or you can choose to go with a different body type. I also drew a tattoo on her hip but you can leave that out if you want.

11

We will begin drawing the bike next. Start at the front with the shell of the body first.

12

Now you can go ahead and draw in more of the sport bike design and mechanical makeup. Take your time so everything is drawn in correct. I tried drawing the bike easy enough for everyone, but if you are not used to drawing motorcycles, then you will s

13

The exhaust of the bike gets drawn in as well as more of the body design. Keep going, take your time and move with the flow of the step.

14

For the last drawing step all you need to draw is the tires and rims. Once you get those parts of the bike drawn in go ahead and add detailing and definition before you erase the mistakes.

15

Here you have it. A finished drawing of your sport bike and rider. Now go ahead and color in your drawing.

Description: Hey guys. Welcome back to another fun drawing lesson here on Dragoart.com. I know I have been gone for a while, but I am back and with my return I have two lessons with the first being how to draw a sport bike, step by step. I added a twist to this sport bike by adding a female rider laid out across the bike. If you think about it, this is a lesson on drawing a motorcycle with rider too. I had a lot of fun with this concept and I think a lot of you will love this tutorial as well. Though it may seem like it's a bit complicated to tackle, in all reality it's not that bad. So go ahead and have fun drawing a sport bike and I will be back with my other lesson to share with you all.
