Description: If I was to ask you to say a make, model and year of a car that first came to your mind what would you say? Every person will give off a different answer that is almost a guarantee. But I also guarantee that one car will be mentioned over and over again because it has made a lasting impression in the minds of people that are both into cars and those that are not. As I was looking through one of my old Car and Driver magazines, I came across an article on a particular car that has nobility for a piece of machinery. That is when it hit me like a ton of bricks falling on my face all in one shot “yeah, that is what I will do next!” This is the car that I will be doing a lesson on today. So without further ado I will now show you "how to draw a Dodge Charger", step by step. This is a muscle car that deserves to have a whole drawing tutorial on because it is truly a beautiful mean looking machine. Some of you may remember seeing this car in a little show called “The Dukes of Hazard”. In fact the Dodge Charger in that television series had a name it was called the “General Lee" and boy, it sure did move like a general didn’t it? You may have also seen this awesome car that can make any man cry in various films like “The Fast and the Furious”, “Blade” in both parts one and two, “Gone in 60 Seconds”, and many, many more films that could leave me typing all day. When learning how to draw a muscle car like this, you should at least know some specs on the power behind the driving wheel. First off the motor is absolutely gorgeous but we will get back to that in just a bit. Let’s start off with a little history of this dazzling car shall we? The very first Dodge Charger was a 1964 show car. The 1969 version of the Charger made this car somewhat of a must have muscle car. The new touch ups made it look sportier with the split grill, and recessed tail lights. The Chrysler Company also designed and released two models for the racing industry which was the 500 and the Charger Daytona both of which were very nice indeed. The standard motor in a 69 Charger was mint. There were only around 69,000 models of the 1969 Dodge Charger that was manufactured and only 503 of them were built with two different motors, the 440 magnum and the 426 Hemi. The 1969 Charger was and still is a beast that has a bite that only a few people can handle when behind the wheel. This car was built to reach top speed at 200 mph, and it had a 425 horse powered engine with eight cylinders. The specs on this muscle car are absolutely incredible. Chrysler also has a reputation for their other muscle cars such as the Belvedere, Road Runner, GTX, Barracuda, Challenger, Coronet, Daytona, and Superbird. These vehicles also have popular recognition as well. This tutorial will show you "how to draw Charger", step by step. I laid out the steps the easiest way I could so that all of you could give it a shot. This was not an easy car to draw out for me and I did have to go over my work more than five times before I got it right. I will be back in a bit with one more lesson so stay tuned.
