How to Draw a Chameleon Easy

1

Make five shapes for the body guide of the chameleon and then add the guidelines for the tail and face.

2

Using the head guide proceed to draw out the actual shape of the head structure. Add some defining lines as well.

3

Make a LARGE circle for the eye.

4

Now draw another LARGE circle around the one you just drew and then draw in a small circle in the center for the eyeball. From the center circle you will then draw the three lid lines. Add a mouth then move along to the next step.

5

We will draw out the limbs next. Start with the front legs and feet and then draw the back leg and foot. This chameleon is going to be holding on to a branch in later steps.

6

We will now draw the back which is arche and then follow the lining to form the thick tail that curls nicely inside itself at the end.

7

You will then draw out the branch and then the leaves at the end of the branch. Erase the mistakes.

8

There you have it. A drawing of an easy chameleon. Add some color and a background to go with the reptile.

Description: The next animal I will be giving you a lesson on is the beautiful chameleon. These lizards or reptiles are one of the pretties of all reptiles and to me they are the reptile equivalent of a sloth. They are slow moving and quite and have the ability to change color to its surroundings. I actually really love how this one came out and I think you too will enjoy learning how to draw a chameleon easy, step by step.
