You will begin by drawing the head and trunk of the elephant like so. The end of the trunk should round off and curl in. Once that is done you can draw the tusks and then draw the eye slit. Add the thick, bold Hindu style curl around the cheek lining

2

Okay guys, you will draw the dolly like cover on the elephant's head and face like so. You can either choose to replicate the design you see here, or go with your own Hindu pattern.

3

There are no markings to draw here, instead all you have to do is complete the elephant's body. This is two legs and a tail.

4

To form the elephant ear, incorporate the Hindu style design pattern. Again, you can do this following the design you see here, or use your own.

5

For the saddle or seat, draw a long hoop like you see here. Once that is done, tackle the pattern.

6

For the last step all you have to do is draw in the rest of the markings. Take your time so they come out nice and even. Erase any mistakes that you made and that's it.

7

Here is the line art when you are all done. Now you can color it in and show people what you drew.

Description: I'm sure most of you are well aware that I love anything related to the Hindu culture and that also includes art. The designs of pattern markings are absolutely beautiful, so what I did was incorporate that Henna style art into an animal. So, here is how to draw a Hindu elephant drawing lesson, step by step. With the gold lining and maroon colored background for the colored art, I think this drawing is so pretty. I love how it all came out and believe it or not, but this isn't going to be too difficult to recreate. So go ahead and have fun and I will prepare my next submission.
