1

Make the guides for the stalk of your corn like so. There should be shoot guide lines as well.

2

At the base of the stalk, draw in the stem and the first flopped over shoots.

3

Add more leaves coming up from the center.

4

You will now draw in a couple cobs of corn and add the crosshatching to create the kernels.

5

Top off the corn stalk like so by drawing one more cob and the rest of the stalk in the middle.

6

Lastly, erase the guidelines and mistakes and then draw the grass at the bottom.

7

There you have it, a corn stalk. Now you can color it in any way you please.

Description: This is not an exciting tut, so I will make this description brief. Since there was no lessons on Drago on how to draw a corn stalk, I figured I would go ahead and make one. Some folks will find this lesson helpful especially during the spring, fall and winter seasons. Stalks can be drawn and colored green, pale, or dried out. It all depends on what you plan on ding with the concept. Anyways, have fun and let me know what you think. Adios folks.
