And my Dad really hates vampires, so he doesn't like Interview very much at all, but he still leaves the decision up to me. :P I started reading the Songs of Seraphim series by Anne Rice, and even though there's no vampires, they're really good, and decent so far, but I haven't read much of it yet. So I would totally suggest that, if you're looking for a good book!
