Like all the pony lessons you will start this one the same way. Make two shapes, one for the head and the other for the body. Connect the two using a neck line, then sketch in the facial guideline.

2

Next, draw in the shape or outline of the pony's ear, then start sketching out her nice flowing mane which is not too long. The bangs should be puffy like you see here. Incorporate a nice flower in her hair like so, then move to step three.

3

We will continue to work on the face. Sketch out the snout, then draw the big friendly looking eye. Sketch in the lashes and thick lid line as well. Make the detailing inside of the ear, then add a nostril and mouth.

4

The face is done. Sketch out the shape of the nicely arched chest, then draw in her front My Little Pony style legs. Add more hair to the right side, then continue onto step five.

5

Finish drawing out the pony's body starting with the back and bum. Draw in the hind legs as well as the long tail. As you can see the pony's tail isn't as fluffy as some of the other pony characters I have drawn.

6

Lastly, draw in the net stockings on the back legs, sketch in the fluffy style wings, then draw in the bracelets on the front legs. You will end this step by adding detailing to the tail and by erasing your mistakes.

Here is what your pony ends up looking like when all is cleaned up. Now all you have to do is choose your own colors if you want and add some vibrancy to this new pony character concept.

Description: So here is another pony but the idea for the concept belongs to someone else. When I made the Goth pony Catimakittycat asked me if I could make a tutorial on "how to draw a Scene pony", step by step too. So after considering the idea, I went ahead and made my version of what a scene pony would look like. Even though I'm a bit confused on this genre of pop culture, I still think I did a good job as far as style concept goes. To me scene is a mix of happiness and Goth. I used to be Goth and for me it was my escape of being different and misunderstood. I'm glad it was a fad for me because nowadays I'm much happier and even more creative with the arts. My drawings are brighter, but they still have that edge which I like. Anyways, I absolutely love the way that this scene pony came out. The yellow color of the body, and the pink mane really makes her look festive. I included a cutie mark which is an inverted heart. The black net leggings on her hind legs looks extra stylish, so does the bracelets she is wearing on her front hooves. Anyways, as you can see she too has a pair of wings which means this is a Pegasus pony. I think Catimakittycat will like this tutorial as well as other fans of the whole pony concept. Enjoy drawing a scene pony, I will be back in a bit with more drawing fun.
