To start this drawing off you will need to draw three shapes and some basic guidelines. Start with the head which is a circle and then draw a larger circle for the torso of the dog. Draw the butt end of the bulldog and then add the facial and leg gui

2

Here you will start sketching out the shape of the muzzle. Remember bulldogs have fatty skin so you must make the mouth part of the dog with hanging jowls. Draw a nose and an open mouth.

3

Sketch out the shape of the head and then draw the ears. Detail the forehead and then draw out the eyes. Draw the more predominate jowl and then move to the next step.

4

You will start drawing out the spiked collar of the cartoon bulldog and then draw the humped back line and stubby tail. Begin drawing out the fangs and then draw the left leg and paw.

5

Sketch out the belly and then the other front leg and paw. When that is one you can draw out the hind leg and paw and then make sure that you add the toe lines. See, you are already almost done.

6

Finish drawing out the legs and then erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one. You will need to prepare your drawing for color that is why you have to clean up your sketch.

7

When you are done your aggressive dog should look like the one you see here. Color him in and you have just learned "how to draw a cartoon bulldog" step by step.

Description: Hello all and welcome back to another drawing tutorial and I am sorry to say that it is going to be on another cartoon character. But have no fear because this cartoon animal is cool, mean, and lean. I am going to show you ""how to draw a cartoon bulldog", step by step. I have two tutorials on a bulldog, one is a lifelike sketch and the other is like a tattoo type of design. This bulldog was requested by a member and when I was filling the request I had to get a mental image of the perfect looking cartoon bulldog. The only dog that came to mind was Spike, the bulldog from Tom & Jerry. So needless to say I was inspired by Spike to sketch out my own bulldog that looks like he is packed with bite and full of power. I colored him in a grayish shade and gave him some devilish looking red eyes to convey power and meanness. I think you will find that this tutorial is an excellent tool to help improve your drawing skills when it comes to learning “how to draw a cartoon bulldog step by step”. I have plenty pf more new lessons coming your way so stay tuned in for more drawing fun.
