1

You will be drawing a few mushrooms or shrooms. Make a circle for the two shrooms like so, and then make the stems. As of right now you have yourself two objects that look like lollipops.

2

Draw two mushroom caps like so and as you can see there is a large one and a much smaller one. Take your time so they come out looking like actual mushrooms.

3

Before you actually draw out the stems, you will need to first draw in the funky shapes or patterns on the caps themselves. When that is done color in some chunky shading under each cap like so.

4

For the two main mushrooms or shrooms, you will need to draw the thick stems like so, and then move to step five. See how the stems grow into each other at the base.

5

We will now finish off this lesson by drawing out the two smaller shrooms which are behind the larger ones. When this is done make more marks on the left cap and then clean up your drawing.

6

This is what your mushrooms look like when you are all done. Now you can have even more fun using your imagination to color them in your own funky way.

Description: I forgot to tell you guys that on Monday of this week, my whole family and I witnessed the Aurora Borealis right in our own backyard. The lights of the red and green hues that filled the night sky was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen before in my whole young adult life. I had no idea that a solar storm can produce so much beauty in the northern parts of North America. Since I live so far up north, the event was clear and spectacular. This next tutorial is going to be based on what my mind felt like when I experienced such a vision. The official name is ‘Aurora Borealis’, but others also know it as the ‘Northern Lights’. So, since it was a trippy experience for me, here is a tutorial on "how to draw shrooms", step by step. I know that some of you may get the wrong idea, but trust me I am not in any way, shape, or form suggesting anything else. The reason why I chose to go with a mushroom concept, is because when I was in this specialty store up where I live, there was one of these black felt posters that glowed in the dark with a black light, and it looked almost like the one you see here. When I saw the Northern Lights Monday night, I automatically thought of the poster I saw in the store. So, here is an awesomely fun and colorful tutorial on drawing shrooms. Have fun with it, and be sure to let me know what you think like always. Peace out people and enjoy!
