1

Make a circle for the head of the bird, and then make a guide for the body.

2

Here you will draw the shape of the head and then draw an eyeball as you color it in. Draw the hummingbird's beak, and then make the lining for under the face.

3

Draw in the simple shaped body like so and be sure to draw the tail. Make the small feet like so, and then move to step four.

4

For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw in the fast moving wings, and then start erasing the one shape you drew for the head guide, as well as the body line you made.

5

Here is the line art when you are all done. Color in your pretty bird to any shade you like.

Description: I have for you two speco treats for all you lovers of the ‘for kids’ lessons. Today is the day that I finally show you all how to draw a hummingbird, step by step. This is such an awesome tutorial to tackle because it is super-duper easy. Hummingbirds are one of the most interesting summer birds to watch as they come around looking for nectar that is left out for them. My mother absolutely loves watching all different colored hummingbirds that come around sniffing for something sweet to eat. They are such a trip to watch, and sometimes they will fly right by your head. You know these birds are around when you hear a really loud noise that sounds like an oversized bumble bee fly by your ear. This is going to be a lesson from the side profile of the bird, and you should be able to tackle it with ease. Let me know if this tutorial helped you draw a humming bird. I will be back in a bit with more drawing fun so try to stick around even though it’s Friday. Peace people and enjoy.
