1

Make a large thick circle shape for Gary's shell. Draw in another line which should be slightly curved for Gary's body.

2

Now you will draw out Gary's long stems for his eyes and then draw out the round shapes for the eyes themselves. Make some lids, and eyeballs, as well as some of his head.

3

Draw in Gary's mouth and some of his teeth, and then draw in some drool.

4

Draw in the large shell and as you can see it is cracked and damaged. Draw in the cracks on his shell, and then make sure that the bottom part of the shell has a lid or trim like shape.

5

You are almost done and as you can see by the steps image, all you have to do is draw out the brain like mass that is spilling out of the shell. Who knows if Gary has brains in his trunk, maybe he is like a Volkswagen Beetle.

6

Lastly, draw in Gary's body or the tissue part of him. This part shouldn't change much, just a gash on the part that he actually crawls on. Erase the guides and mistakes that you may have made in step one as well as along the way.

7

The line art should look as follows, and now that you are done with this task, you can move along to something else that you might enjoy!

Description: You all saw him on my Facebook page, and some of you even loved seeing this version of Spongebob’s pet in zombie form. I figured that Mr. Squarepants should have his pet snail drawn in zombie form, and before anybody asked for him as a lesson, I was already planning on making a tutorial on "how to draw zombie Gary", step by step. He is just as cute even though his shell and insides are exposed. Gary sort of looks like the version that we all saw in the episode where Squidward gets a pet snail and enters his snail into a race competition. Spongebob thought that Gary could beat Squidward’s snail, so he entered Gary too, and let’s not mention how Patrick entered his pet rock, oh wait, I just did. Remember when Gary had a blowout and his eyes and insides where all messed up? Well, that’s sort of how he looks in his zombie form. I had a lot of fun turning Gary the snail into a zombie monster and I think you guys will also have a blast as you tackle the task of drawing zombie Gary too. Have fun guys and remember to leave a comment, rating, or even fav the things you like. Adios people!
