How to Draw a Toucan for Kids

This is a very easy lesson. Start with a simple circle and then move to step two.

Using that one shape that you drew for a head, begin sketching out the entire outline of the toucan's body. This includes the beak, and the feet like you see here.

Draw in the Toucan's eye which should be big and then draw the line that separates the beak from the face. Add a mouth line and move to step four.

Almost done guys, just draw out two lines to make the wings and then add some feather tips like so.

Now you are ready to draw out the branch that the toucan is sitting on, and when that is done you can draw out the other foot. Clean up the sketch and you are good to go.

Here is what the line art should look like when you are all done. As you can see the toucan came out looking great. Now the real fun comes in because you get to add some vibrant colors to make your bird even better.
