1

First draw a big egg shape for the head, and then draw in the facial guidelines as well as a straight line for the body.

2

Here you will use the circle for the head and then sketch out the actual shape of the head which is shaped like a chestnut. The chin should be pointed, and then draw in the ears, and some of the hair on the head.

3

Using the face guides, begin drawing out the shapes of his worried eyes, and then color in some pupils. Draw the eyebrows like so, and then draw a V for the nose followed by the mouth and tooth.

4

You will now begin drawing out the torso for Scaredy, and when you do this start with the collar, and then move down to draw out the arms, and hands like so.

5

Now all you have to do is draw out the waist, and then the long, skinny lanky legs like so.

6

Lastly, draw out the big puffy tail, and then draw in the spiral design inside of the tail like so. Erase the guides and shapes that you drew in step one as well as other messy lines you made along the way.

This is how the new Cartoon Network character looks once you are all done. Color him in and be on your way.

Description: Once again I found out that Cartoon Network has a new cartoon series called Scaredy Squirrel that aired on the ninth of August, and I guess it’s a series that is based on a children’s book series. The main character, whose name is the same as the title, goes through the each day as he tries to somehow avoid all the fears that he has, while meeting up with his best bud at the same time. Now, I’m not familiar with Scaredy or the book, and I’m not even sure if the series is going to have the same story line as the book series. What I do know, is that this is going to be a hit show. Anytime you bring a children’s book to life by making a cartoon out of it, you are bound to have a popular show on your hands. His best friend is a skunk named Dave and together they spend their days trying to have as much fun as possible. I think you’ll enjoy learning "how to draw Scaredy Squirrel", because he is such an awesome character to tackle. I will be back soon with more drawing fun so stay tuned in people, there is more on the way.
