Make a circle for the head, and then draw in the facial guidelines.

2

Draw out the large U shape for Ted's face shape and then sketch in his long bangs that sway to the left side.

Looking at this step you would think that you're about to draw a mushroom. The fact is it's actually Ted's hair style. Begin sketching out the muffin top hairdo like so, and be sure to sketch in some small curls on the edge of the lining. Draw in the

All you need to do here is use the face guides to draw out Ted's face. This includes the round shaped eyes, his nose, and then his mouth. Simple lines will create all the facial features you see here. Don't forget to add that crinkle on top of his no

Draw out both of his ears, and then draw in his long skinny neck. Add some detailing inside of the ears, and then move to the last drawing step.

Okay, finish Ted off by drawing out the shoulders and some of the arms. Once that is done draw out and color in the stripes on his shirt. Erase the guides that you drew in step one for clean up.

Here is what Ted looks like when you are all done. Now you can color him in and be on you're way. Thanks for joining me with drawing Ted from The Lorax.

Description: This is the last character from the new 2012 upcoming movie ‘The Lorax’ that I will be submitting today, and then I will be moving onto something else. Now, with this lesson you will be learning "how to draw Ted", step by step. Ted is the secondary main figure from The Lorax, and in the movie he is on a search to find The Lorax. Since I never really watched the cartoon or read the book, I don’t know exactly who Ted is. I know he plays a role in the forty seven page book, but I don’t know any of his characteristics or anything. One exciting thing about Ted’s character is that he is going to be voiced by Zac Efron. I actually like Zac Efron’s acting because he is subtle and has a sense of humor. I especially liked him in Charlie St. Cloud and 17 Again. As for Ted, he is going to be just as easy or even easier to replicate. I already have a few comments on the two other characters from The Lorax, and since they did so well, I have a feeling that you will also enjoy learning "how to draw Ted" as well. I guess that’s about it for now, I will be back in a few with more drawing fun. Adios people and have fun!
