How to Draw Tidus, Final Fantasy, Tidus

1

Alright, before we venture onto drawing the body and face for Tidus, we must practice with his face. Notice there is more detail to Tidus once zoomed on his facials. Begin with basic shapes before you draw the entire face shape. Steady with light gui

2

Begin with the skeletal structure of Tidus. This is an important part of drawing a figure since it's essential the building blocks. Start drawing the facial guides first and work your way down to the torso area. Make sure you draw these guidelines li

3

Start this step off by drawing the face shape of Tidus before you jump into the facial details. Keep in mind of he soft curves in his face since he's slightly a feminine character.

4

Next, draw the eyes and pupils for his face. The eyes shouldn't have so much thickness in line quality due to this character containing a sort of masculine appearance.

5

Then, finish the face by adding the brows and mouth. Like stated previously during the beginning, use careful line quality for this area. He is NOT wearing black lipstick!

6

Then, start adding his hair in light but swifts strands. Keep his strands thin and tapered to create a Final Fantasy styled characteristic for Tidus. Keep in mind to draw each hair strand similar to one another.

7

Sketch out the shape of Tidus' neck, and then begin drawing out the shoulders and or collar. You also have to make the open lining that is for his vest like sleeveless jacket.

8

Once the shoulder pads are drawn out, you can draw in more of the material design for the vest. These two additions look like side flaps.

9

Draw in the right shoulder, and then add the flaps that hangs off the left shoulder pad sleeve. When that is done you can draw in the buckles on the twp straps that hangs on the chest. Draw in the cloth material on the mid section of the upper arm, a

10

Continue to draw out Tidus' clothing including the waist line, and some of the half style jacket. Draw in the shirt detailing and make a arrow shaped lining for the left sleeve.

11

As you can see Tidus is looking just fantastic. What you will do now is draw in his belt, and belt loops. Sketch in the detailing on material located in front of the stomach.

12

Using the arm guides you drew in step one to begin sketching out his very toned arms like you see here. Remember, Tidus wears a complex looking top where one whole arm is covered, and the other is only covered half way.

13

To finish off Tidus, all you have to do is draw in the layered scale like forearm shield. Erase the guides you drew in step one to clean up the drawing.

14

This is Tidus when you are all done. Color him in, and place this drawing in the greatest drawings of all time book because you did a great job!

Description: Last year I used to get so many requests for lessons on Final Fantasy characters that where from part X. One of the main figures was a seventeen year old young man that was introduced as one of the main characters of the Final Fantasy series. This tutorial has been longed for by many artists and fans of the game, so today I will finally show you "how to draw Tidus", step by step. Tidus is a very interesting looking character. In FFX he is the protagonist, and the lead character. His home town is a place called Zanarkand, but was destroyed by an unusual creature called Sin. Once the attack happened he was woke up in a different world where he was not only alone and confused, he was also lost. The feeling he had was overbearing and at first Tidus didn’t know what do with the situation he was in. The world was Spira, and once he was there he meet up with Yuna and her guardians. Together the team embarks on a journey that will take down the evil that is responsible for the attack on Zanarkand, and once Sin is destroyed, this chapter can be closed in Tidus’ book. He moves on to appearing in FF X2, Kingdom Hearts, and finally Dissidia: Final Fantasy. If you are a fan of any one of the games I just listed, you will enjoy learning "how to draw Tidus" for sure. I really do have to bounce out of here because there is so much more for me to do. Adios people and please enjoy the rest of the drawing day!
