How to Draw Tintin

1

Draw out the shape of his head, and then draw out the round shape of Tintin's body like you see here. As you can also see the top of the body is straight which means this will be sued as his shoulders. The next thing to do is draw out the arms.

2

Sketch out the shape of Tintin's face like you see here as well as the bump for his ear. Next, draw out the neck, and then draw the swoop of his which is sticking way up.

3

Finish sketching out Tintin's hairstyle like you see here and cap off the top of his bangs. You will also add detailing inside of the ear, and then draw in the eyebrows, solid eyes, nose and mouth. Next and lastly for this step, draw out his shirt co

4

Continue to sketch out his clothing by drawing out the sleeves and then the rest of the length of the body clothing like you see here. It should look like a dress when you are all done.

5

Draw in the cuffed up sleeves like so, and then draw out the forearms and hands which look a little buff.

6

Sketch out the end line for the shirt, and then draw out the pants and or legs like so. Be sure to include the creases and baggy cuffs at the base of the pants.

7

All you have to do now is draw out the rest of the legs which appear to be a lot smaller than the legs look, and then draw out the shoes or feet. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up the drawing.

8

Here is your finished drawing when you are all done. Now you can color him in, and look for his companion to draw next. Thank you for joining me with this lesson on drawing Tintin.

Description: So Steven Spielberg is coming out with a new movie based on characters from a comic strip. The main figures are pretty recognizable by name, Tintin, Captain Haddock, Snowy, and some other secondary supporting characters. This tutorial is going to show you "how to draw Tintin", step by step. Now Tintin is a young man that is an investigative journalist. He is almost always accompanied by his pal Snowy and together they go on adventures to save the day. Even though Tintin is a reporter, there is no sign that he has any co-workers, or even a boss. I guess you could say that he does freelance work or works for himself. Steven Spielberg’s movie is going to take us on a journey as we watch “The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn". The movie is supposed to follow Tintin and his friends as they embark on a journey that is considered to be a treasure hunt. The flick is going to be an animation, and it will have the voice actors of Daniel Craig as Red Rackham, Andy Serkis as Captain Haddock, Inspector Thompson is going to be voiced by Simon Pegg, and Jamie Bell is going to be Tintin. I don't know how the movie will be once it's in theaters, but I think it might do well because it's a movie that is directed by Steven Spielberg and as you know, almost all Spielberg movies make it big. I mean why wouldn't, he is awesome director. Anyways, if you are familiar with this comic book character you should enjoy this lesson on "how to draw Tintin". I have to stroll out of here because I still have two more lessons that needs to go up. Until next time folks, have an awesome drawing day!
