I was watching this movie about dancers and how hard they train to become good at what they do. There are all types of dancers, and even though some of them have bad reputations, they are still considered a dancer. Today, I thought I would get a little creative and submit a lesson that is based on these female or male performers. You are going to learn "how to draw a dancer", step by step, and she is going to be dressed really cool, and have a lot of character potential. The concept for this character or figure is based on a few different things. I wanted to give this dancer a combination of looks and as you can see those looks are Asian, and Persian based. Out of all the sketching, lining, designing, and coloring I did, my favorite part this this figure is her outfit. I think it came out so wonderful and it really brings out the dancer essence as she stands there with that serious body form and expression. Dancing is as old as time and it is something that will always be in existence just like music. There is an age old saying that goes “when there is music, there will also be dancing”. It doesn't matter what type of music you listen to or what type of dancing you like to do. I have to say that there is one style of music that really can't be danced to and that is rap. The only thing you can do while listing to this type of music is bop your head, wave your arms, and maybe bounce back and forth. There is also some fun music to dance to and even though I'm not fond of the music, it looks very entertaining. The music I am talking about is country. Anyways, whether to agree with me or not is not the point. The point is you will definitely have an awesome time as you follow this tutorial that will teach you "how to draw a dancer", step by step. Let me know what you think of the figure because this is definitely a drawing I would like feedback on. Peace people have fun, and enjoy your drawing day!
