How to Draw Kyle Kingson, How to Draw Beastly

1

Start by sketching the circle for the head and then add the facial guidelines.

2

Now you can sketch out the shape of his head, and the structure of his face. Notice that he has a squared jaw, which gives the appearance of being very chiseled. You will also draw in his ears too.

3

Sketch in the beginning lining for his eyes, and then his nose like so. Take your time and be sure to lightly sketch the lines at first.

4

Finish sketching out the eyes, and then draw in the eyeballs. Once that is all set, you can sketch the nose tip like so.

5

You will now start sketching in the definition and detailing to his eyes bu first coloring in his eye color. Then lightly sketch in the lid and bottom lashes as well as eye creases.

6

Sketch out his lips or mouth like so. As you can see the bottom lip is fuller then the top lip. Draw the clef above the lip, and then begin sketching in the detailing for his ears like so. Be sure to add more definition to the nose or the bridge of h

Now the fun starts. Here you will sketch out his scars. Some of the scars are more like dried up gashes in his skin. Remember he is supposed to look ugly or hideous. The right side of his cheek has the most damage so be sure to pay attention to the m

Now you will begin sketching out the metallic like design that covers the bridge of his nose, and straight up the middle of his forehead. Next, sketch in the tattoos that are in a tribal like form on his eyebrows, and along the left cheek and over hi

You are almost done with this tutorial. All you need to do here is sketch out more of the tattoo which resembles tree limbs or branches. On the back of the head sketch in more tribal markings, and then color them in solid like so.

Now this Kyle or Alex's face is complete, you can now begin working in his neck and shoulders. All you have to do is draw in his thick shaped neck, and then some of the shoulders. This character has scars and tattoos all over his body.

For the last drawing step, all you need to do is sketch in all the tattoos on the left side of his neck and shoulder, as well as his scars too. The right side also has tribal tattoo branches that you will need to sketch in. When you are done, you can

This is how your Beastly character should look when you are all done. Now you can either add some light coloring, or leave him as a sketch.

Description: So I was watching TV yesterday and this commercial came on for an upcoming movie that is going to be in theaters March 4th. The funny thing is I really thought it was a commercial for a mini series, but instead it was in fact a movie. When the trailer was over I said to myself, “this is going to be a big hit”! That is why I am submitting this character you see before you now. I'm going to show you "how to draw Kyle Kingson" from the movie Beastly. It is a modern day fairytale about a guy that has it all, but he also has this arrogance and stuck up personality. Kyle thinks he is Gods gift to woman, and that is one of the reasons why he goes through a life changing transformation, because he uses people that cross his path. One day as he shows how rude, and disrespectful he can be to a classmate, who he later finds out that that classmate was in fact a witch that would cast a year long spell on him. The witch is played by Mary-Kate Olson, and she transforms the beautiful Kyle into a hideous monster and tells him that he has one year to find someone that will love him as the ugly beast he is. Now that his life changes, he keeps to himself and becomes the very person that he despises, a lonely, powerless ugly soul with no social life. Feeling hopeless that he will remain the ugly beast he is because no one could possibly see past his appearance, he starts to give up until one day his life changed once again. Lindy Owens gives him hope that she just might be the one to break the spell. Lindy is played by Vanessa Hudgens, and together with Alex Pettyfer they are part of the epic tale of today's Beauty and the Beast. The movie is based on the 2007 novel by Alex Flinn 'Beastly', and to tell you the truth, I can't wait to see it. Alex Pettyfer went through seven hours of make-up every time he dressed for his role as the beastly version of Kyle. He had to sit through sixty seven prosthetic pieces being set in place, as well as sixty different tattoos and scars that had to be painted on his body. I think the character creation of the beast version of Kyle came out awesome, and I had so much fun sketching him out as the monster he portrays. If you are familiar with the book, or are anxious to see the movie, you will have great fun learning "how to draw Alex Pettyfer" or Beastly step by step. This is my favorite drawing of the day, so it will remain at the top of the page. Have fun guys and let me know what you think!
