How to Draw Artemis

Like many figure lessons you will start this one the same way. Start by making a circle for the head, and then draw in the guidelines for her face, and body like you see it drawn here.

All you need to do here is sketch out the shape of Artemis's face shape and head structure. You will also need to draw in the mask lines around her mouth but under her nose, and above her eyes but closer to her forehead. Also draw in her ear too.

AS you can see you will be drawing out her catty looking eyes, as well as her nose and mouth. Be sure to add detail and definition to her cheeks, and inside of her ears. Her eyes should be thick and bold as well.

Now you will be drawing in the detailing to the mask, and then start drawing out the hair strands which is combed back into a ponytail as you see here.

Okay, instead of going further with her body, I want to work on getting her arrow sack, and arrows drawn in as you can see here. When that is done you can draw in her long ponytail which is kind of hidden because he is being drawn and viewed on a 3/4

Okay, now we can start drawing out her neck, and then her shoulders. When that is done you can go further and draw in her arms, which are very stiff looking, and then her torso. Next, draw each rod for each arrow that is in her sack as well as the no

Lets start sketching in the lining for her top which exposes her arms and stomach. Draw in the arm bands around her upper arm and then the lining for her forearm high gloves. Next, add the stitch lines for her top as well as the emblem on the front o

Now you are ready to draw out her legs which are not exposed at all unlike her belly. The pants are skin tight so the shape of the pants are also the shape of her legs. Once this is done draw in the detailing to her utility belt, and her stomach.

Instead of drawing out her feet right away, I would rather have you sketch in her knee pads, and the straps around her thighs. Add some more lining for pockets, and then draw in any other detailing that you didn't add before.

Now you can draw in her boots which are also very bulky. Be sure to draw in the thick soles, and straps before you start erasing all the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Here is how Artemis looks when you are all done. Now you can go ahead and color her in and add her to the Young Justice team. I hope you had fun everyone!

Description: Okay guys, as some of you may know Cartoon Network has new cartoon series that is doing very well. The name of the series is called Young Justice, and it is a show that is not only filled with young heroes, but also young and old villians. Today I am submitting a lesson on the sixth member of Young Justice and she is said to be the Protégé of Green Arrow. Her look is awesome, and she always carries around a serious expression and dimemaner to her figure. So having said all that let me show you "how to draw Artemis", step by step. She has long blonde hair but it is almost always wrapped up in a green colored head and face mask. Her neck is also covered by a turtle neck style top that exposes her arms and belly. She wears an arrow sack that is straped to her back, and she also wears green colored long skin tight pants with boots that overlay her pants. One of the things I like about Artemis is her spunkly personality. Artemis is also one of those characters that is always on edge. What I mean by that is, she is always on guard and if someone ever has something negative to say to her, she is ready to challenge their opinion to the full extent. She is a skilled archer, and if you have seen episodes with her in it, you will see exactly what I mean. I think you will enjoy this tutorial on "how to draw Artemis" because she is one tough cookie that isn't afraid to speak her mind and tell it how it is.
