1

Begin by drawing out a circle shape for the head, and then another shape for the body which looks like an egg. Draw in the facial guidelines and then add the leg lines.

2

Begin sketching out the shape of the badgers face structure making sure to pay close attention to the snout because that is the part of the animal that is long and narrow. Also, you will have to draw out the ears.

3

Draw in the inner ear detailing like so, and then color in some beady looking eyes. Next, draw out the nose tip, and then move to step four.

4

Now you can draw out the two thick spear shaped stripes that start at the forehead, and covers the eyes completely. Add some minor detailing to the nose, and move to step five.

5

You will now start sketching out the shapes of the front legs, and chest, and then be sire to include the sharp pointed claws as well.

6

Okay, sketch out the badger's body like you see it here, and then be sure to draw out the back legs, and back clawed paws. You will also have to draw out the belly too.

7

To finish off the badger all you have to do is draw out the tail, and add some marking lines on the top of the tail. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one, and then you can see what the final drawing looks like when it's all cleaned up

Description: I will eventually come back to this tutorial and fill in a more detailed bio for this animal. This lesson is going to show you "how to draw a badger", step by step. Now even though these animals look a lot like a skunk, rodent or whatever, they are actually part of the weasel family. Their bodies are considered to be very hearty, and even though the body is pretty meaty, they have short stubby legs and long nails on each foot. There are a few different types of badger species and one of them is the first are called Melinae badgers which are usually found in parts of Europe and Asia. The most common badger is the ones found in the United States, and they are called the American badger. Their bodies are between a black or sable color, and the heads have bold white stripes with the eyes blackened. They are very interesting animals, and when I come back I will give you more 411 on the badger like where they live, what they eat, and how much they grow to weigh. For now I will just provide this lesson for you that will teach you "how to draw a badger", step by step. I do hope you have fun, and be sure to come back and check in on this animal species in the next few days to see what else I added in the description. Thanks for joining me folks!
