This is a dragon from my sketch book that I created like five years ago. I have a big imagination and sometimes I conjure up idea fro different types dragons that nobody has ever heard of. I like to mix up my creatures by combining dinosaur features mixed with lizards and snakes. This is a beast I like to call the “Snow Dragon”, it’s a simple dragon that has the face and body of a bulldog, the wings and tail of a dragon. These creatures live on high mountain tops that are plentiful of snow. They dig out caves and barrows to live and hibernate in for security and warmth. These animals like to be up high away from towns and villages, or any place where humans live and hunt. These types of dragons are probably one of the smallest from the dragon race, weighing in at 500 pounds and measuring 12 feet long, I guess you can say they are little giants. Sometimes when food is scarce they will travel down below where the humans live in search for food, their diet consist of medium sized animals like cows, sheep, and mountain goats. When they have to resort to hunting on ground, they risk themselves of being caught by poachers or farmers. If they are caught by farmers they are often used as a working animal that gets plows hooked up to it for farming wheat and vegetables. At times they are tamed enough to be ridden by children. Snow dragons are fond of children because they seem harmless and provide lots of love and attention that adults cannot. Drawing a snow dragon is so simple that even a young kid can do it. The step by step instructions make it even easier because I show you in detail on what to do next. Children of farmers sometimes even feel bad for these harmless beasts, so they sneak out and set them free. In occasion while in captivity farmers use to have the local butcher trim down the wings to prevent them from flying away. A cruel act indeed, but when your crops are running small due to lack of help, you will do anything to provide for your family. Invite the snow dragon into your life by creating your own stubby lizard. I guarantee you will fall in love with him, or her.
