How to Draw Sasuke Uchiha From Naruto
Step 1. In this first step on how to draw Sasuke, you will draw out the guidelines and shapes to form a solid frame for him. Start with a circle for his head and then some circles for his joints. The head is somewhat a tricky part because of his hairline. When I first started out drawing Sasuke I messed up on drawing his hairline. So I had to redo it. Now lets continue on drawing his legs, feet and hands. For the hands begin with mitten shapes. His foot will only need a sock looking shape. I chose to use this awesome Naruto action packed pose because this is the pose that Sasuke is in when he fights and throws ninja stars. I remember in one of the Naruto episodes when Sasuke was fighting with Kakashi. I think he was training Sasuke how to fight better. I barely remember because I watched that a while ago. Well anyways, to make the body detailing easy to draw, sketch out the rough figure of the Naruto character. When I say this I mean to draw mannequin looking legs and arms. To help yourself a little more when drawing the face, add the four guidelines to proportion his face well.
Step 2. In this step we will start to add in the ripe details of the clothing and face. When drawing the clothes you have to make sure you add in the little folds and creases in them. You can't have a shirt with no ruffles or it would look unrealistic and plain. In this image we will make the clothing go in an upright direction since Sasuke is in the air. Start to shape up the hands nicely. I can remember I used to be really bad at hands. Now that I practice they come out really good. Anyways, start drawing out the pointy shape of the ninja star. For this pose make sure you have the arm out in the distance. This will create an excellent and live pose for your Naruto character. Next step shall we??
Step 3. Yay! You ready for this step?? To begin we will start to draw the jagged shape of the side of Sasuke's hair. Since his head is in a 3/4 position, you will be able to see the right half of the side of his hair. Remember, you cannot have a 3/4 face and have the hair in the back of its head. This will make your character seem distorted and out of proportion. To end this step, draw out some other ruffles and folds in the clothing. On with the next step kiddies! We don't want Sasuke to be unfinished!
Step 4. In this easy Sasuke step, we will begin by drawing the cloth wrapping beneath his knee. Honestly, I don't know the point of that wrapping, but I'm guessing that's what all ninja type of people wore back in those days. But yeah, on with the Naruto character. Add some extra folds in the clothing as well. As you can see Sasuke's stomach is showing, this is because he is in the air and since he can jump like 30 feet in the air, you will be able to see some of his belly due to the speed he's traveling in. Well, I guess that's for this step...carry on ^_^
Step 5. Well all I can say about this step is that its really easy. We only have to finish off extra ruffling details and some hair. All we do is add the thigh warmer that holds some kinda outer pocket. Don't forget to create the right arm warmer to his arm. To end the rest of this step draw out the lining of the inside of his hand. And lastly, draw the last bit of spikiness at the end of his hair. Well I guess this is the end of the tutorial. On with the awesome Sasuke line art =3
Step 6. Hello again, here's the finished line art. This is what you should end up with. I think Sasuke is mad at me for drawing him a thousand feet in the air XD. Don't hurt me with your ninja star *dies*!! Um yeah, Sasuke is gonna have a nice fall when he comes down from that sky. I think I better get away now, I don't wanna die young!! That will end this tutorial on how to draw Sasuke from Naruto step by step. I guess this is good-bye kiddies! Peace out D=

I know that you all had the pleasure experiencing the Chibi Sasuke tutorial I did a couple days ago. I thought that it would be cool to do a tutorial on the full size image of the real Sasuke. So in this tutorial you will be learning how to draw Sasuke Uchiha from the hit anime/manga series, Naruto. As I mentioned before Sasuke bears the symbol of the leaf village on his headband. He comes from the Uchiha clan, which is a highly skilled clan of ninjas allied to the village of Konohagakure. Sasuke always displays a look that says he has at some point been betrayed or that he is always in constant heartache and pain. This look that he wears upon his face has good meaning behind it. Sasukes whole drive and goal is to seek out revenge on the person that wiped out his entire clan and family. This means he will stop at nothing until he conquers his quest on killing his very own brother Itachi Uchiha (he is also another popular character in the Naruto series). Even though Sasuke has raw rage inside of his heart he always seems to soften up a bit when he is with Naruto Uzumaki. He considers Naruto a close friend and a rival. As for his abilities, well that is something to talk about. Sasuke has always been able to learn and carry out almost any ninja ability with absolute ease. His main two abilities that are inherited from the Uchiha clan is the weapon based and fire breathing techniques. These two abilities are almost always used in the Naruto series. His teacher Kakashi Hatake (another character I did a tutorial on), teaches him how to use the Chidori in an attempt to lure him away from Orochimaru. Speaking of Kakashi, Sasuke was part of Team 7 in most of the first half of part one. He didn’t like to admit that he was a part of team 7, so he would just say I will accompany you on your journey. Sasuke is a fun character to follow because he is one of the more interesting characters of the series. Not only is he one of the popular members of Naruto he is also one of the most mentioned and used when marketing Naruto products. Sasuke is also a common playable character in the Naruto video games like Ultimate Ninja 1&2. Anyways, I’m sure you all know about this character if you are a fan of Naruto. Having said that I think it’s time for you to stop reading this and start learning how to draw Sasuke Uchiha. The detailed instructions will show you just how easy it is to draw this popular Japanese anime character that everyone raves about. I will be back soon with more tutorials to help feed your artist mind.
