Begin by making two circles for the head and butt area like so. You will attach the two shapes by drawing out the tummy and back lining, and then make the guidelines for the face.

2

Now it's time to draw out the actual shape of the pup's head and make sure you include the ears. When that is done draw a small cliff line dent for the bottom lip.

3

Now it's time to utilize those guidelines you drew in step one to draw out the shapes of the large eyes, and then draw out the nose. You will then color in the eyes leaving behind a couple of glare marks. Now draw the snout, and bottom mouth as well

4

Okay guys you are almost done with this tutorial on how to draw a pup. All you have to do here is draw out the front legs and paws like so.

5

Lastly, draw the rest of the legs and then the toes for the paws. This pup is ready to be adopted so make sure you add some minor detailing and definition to finish off the drawing. Remember to erase the lines and shapes you drew in step one.

6

Now all you have to do is color in this pup. You can choose to color in to look like a Weimaraner, or you can color in the pooch something different.

Description: Every once in a while I like to draw things that are cute, and easy to replicate. Because of this I wanted to make a lesson that will teach artists of all levels, "how to draw a pup", step by step. The pup that I drew is of a Weimaraner which is a greyish blue coated colored dog that is considered to be large in size, with blue eyes. These dogs have bog floppy ears, and real lean bodies, but they are still pretty big. Anyways drawing a pup is going to be fun and exciting. I know some of you folks here must have got a puppy for Christmas, and if you did I hope you are having fun with the little guy/girl. Puppies are animals that are loved, adored, and popular with people of all ages. I had fun making this tutorial on "how to draw a pup". If you want to make some other dog breed as a pup, you can go right ahead and do so. No matter what type you choose, one thing is certain, drawing a pup is going to be absolutely amazing. There is no better fun then drawing something cute. I have to roll out of here for now but I will be back. See you guys soons!
