Begin by making the shapes and lines to form a nice, neat workable frame for Ultimo like you see here. The torso and bottom body area are diamond in shape, and so is the left arm or hand outline.

You will now start drawing out the shape of Ultimo's face, and then add the lining for the round eyes. When that is all set, you can draw the neck, shoulders, torso shapes, and the flaring piece of clothing that covers up the bottom half of the body.

Begin drawing out the wild design of the hairstyle like you see here, and then be sire to sketch in the rest of the eyes and then the ear. As you can see I made the neck a bit wider, so you must do the same as well. The next thing you need to sketch

For the last drawing step, all you have to do is draw out the rest of the fingers, and then add the remaining detailing and definition lines on the clothes, and body. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description: Has anybody heard of the manga that was written by Stan Lee called ULTIMO? Well, someone asked if I could do a lesson on the red headed character that is displayed on the front of each manga published. The character on the front of the cover is called ‘Ultimo’ and believe it or not, but this figure is a male, not a female. Ultimo is a hero that is packed with all types of abilities, especially when he uses his oversized gauntlets that transforms into animal based weapons. Stan Lee collaborated with Hiroyuki Takei in creating a series that is filled with adventure, battles, and an ongoing fight between good and evil. The character creation of Ultimo is pretty sweet and you can totally see how Stan Lee influenced the design of Ultimo. Anyways, this is going to be a pretty simple lesson, and if you are a big fan of the manga series, you should enjoy this lesson on "how to draw Ultimo", step by step. I’m not too familiar with the manga as of yet, but I can almost guarantee you that I will be reading up on it real soon since I am a big Stan Lee fan. Not only that but, any type of story where good and evil are constantly colliding is worth reading about. I have to slide on out of here because I want to get the other two lessons I drew uploaded before I start by tutorial work day. So stick around to see what the next two lessons might be, and I promise you the heading doesn’t say “easy”. Peace out peeps!
