1

Make a circle for the head, and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw the lines to create the body frame for your LEGO.

2

Begin drawing in the plastic face, and then color in the eyes, and mouth. Lastly, draw in the hat, and lid.

3

Draw the shape of the plastic body which includes the arms, torso, and legs. All these shapes are blocky and square. Don't forget the hands.

4

Now here is the fun part. Draw the chin lining, and then begin adding the lines to create his overalls starting with the straps, and then add the front pocket. Draw in the hands in more defined detail.

5

The last thing you need to do is draw out the lines that will create the shape of his pants, and feet. Once you have gotten your drawing to look like the one you see here, you can start erasing the lines and shapes you drew in step one.

6

Look how nice your new construction worker looks now that you are all done drawing a LEGO person. Color him in, and you are all done.

Description: When was the last time I submitted a tutorial on a popular children’s toy that has been around for decades? If I really think about it, I believe the last time I had an idea to draw a toy, was with Ken, you know, Barbie’s boyfriend. Anyway, today I thought I would take a different approach when it comes to making toy figures. I was thinking that a tutorial on "how to draw a LEGO", would be something that some members can appreciate, and have fun with. Nowadays Lego people can be bought looking like some of your favorite movie stars, and what I mean by that is, when it comes to creating a new line of LEGO people, this company will go all out and create licensed themes from the cartoon and film industry. Today you can buy play sets that come in themes like Star Wars, Batman, Spongebob, Harry Potter, Thomas the Tank, Ben 10, Spider Man, Indiana Jones, and with the new Pixar movie that came out last month, you can now find a line for Toy Story as well. But even though there are some really cool themes, you can also find play sets that come in boxes that hold over four hundred pieces. The LEGO line was started in 1934, and ever since they have been producing plastic pieces of blocks that can be put together to create something fun and exciting. Anyway, this lesson will show you "how to draw a LEGO", step by step, and when you use this tutorial you will give yourself a skill to create and "draw LEGO people" as a group. I hope you enjoy this submission. I will return in a while with more drawing fun so be sure to stay logged in to find out what I will upload next.
