For my second lesson of the day, I am going to submit a tutorial that has been requested by a member for so long now. I’m truly sorry that I haven’t got around to filling this request, but I have been so busy, and I have been without internet for some time now. Anyway, if you look in the Disney section, you will find that there is a few tutorials on some very popular characters from the movie “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”. Back when I was young, this was one of my favorite flicks, and today I can still stand in front of the t.v. and watch this movie with my baby sister. There are a few characters that I love like the gargoyles, Esmeralda, Quasi, and of course the ruthless judge. Today, I will be showing you guys “how to draw Frollo", step by step. His full name is Judge Claude Frollo, and he is what you call the “bad guy”, and he is given this title for good cause. He is a man that says he believes in religion but lives a life that is totally contrary to that of a man that is religious. Frollo lives a life of hypocrisy as he chases down gypsies, and tortures the poor. In the movie he is seen chasing down a gypsy couple with a woman holding or gripping onto her young child. As the husband was chased down and killed, Frollo then went after the gypsy woman. She was slain and all that was left was a crying child. This child would later be named Quasimodo. At first he was going to through the deformed infant down in the water, but then he was stopped by the Archdeacon who then told Frollo that he must care for the child or his black soul would be cursed forever in eternal damnation. Needless to say Claude Frollo has a burning desire for Esmeralda who herself is a black haired gypsy woman and he will stop at nothing until she is burned alive. In general, this is one of Disney’s most maniacal characters, which means you should have fun learning "how to draw Frollo" too. I have to get going because there is much more work to be done. Meet me back here in a bit to see what else I have in store for all you avid artists out there. Peace out people!
