Start this first step by drawing an egg shape for Venusaur's head, and then add the outer lined shape for the body like so. Next, draw a back loop.

2

Begin sketching out the shape of Venusaur's head, and then draw the ear. Next, draw the front leg, underbelly, and then the other leg.

Okay, finish drawing out the ears, and then draw the inner shapes of the ears as well. You will then begin to draw the leafy foliage on it's head like so, and these leaves look a lot like palm tree leaves. Once that is done, you can draw the inner li

Now it's time to finish drawing the leaves or pedals, and then draw the large leaf on the back. Next, draw out the eyes, color in the eyeballs, and then draw the back leg, mouth, and add a few teeth that over and under lap the mouth like you see here

For your last drawing step, all you need to do is draw the bark detailing, the spots on the leaves or pedals, and then draw out the rest of the legs, feet, and toes. Once that is done, you can go ahead and add all the warts that are scattered all ove

This is it, your line art. Venusaur should look like the one you see here when you are all done. All you need to do now is color him/her in and you are all set. Did you have fun learning how to draw Venusaur or what? Great work!

Description: How many seed Pokemon species do you know of off hand? Well for me, there really isn't too many because I haven't kept up with the Pokemon series in a while. This tutorial is going to be on a very popular seed species that is the last evolution from Bulbasaur's original form. I will show you how to draw Venusaur, step by step. Venusaur is a cool Pokemon from the grass/poison type. It takes this form when it evolves from Ivysaur at level thirty two. Venusaur looks almost like it's original pre-evolution forms, with the only difference being it's size. This evolution form of Bulbasaur is the biggest of them all, which means Venusaur moves much slower then the previous versions. These Pokemon species come in both male and female versions. The female version of Venusaur has a seed on it's back that comes out from the flower. The flower bud is now fully bloomed into a big red flower that has a total of six petals with white spots scattered on each one. The trunk is brown and looks a lot like a palm tree. The abilities are stronger, new and improved. For example, Venusaur has the ability to play with natures creations. For instance, it can make the flowers on a tree bllom, and also control the roots to use as an attack method. I have always been fond of Bulbasaur because it was one of the first Pokemon species created when the Pokemon series came out. Ash had one, and he always used it. Nonetheless, if you are a Pokemon fanatic, you will love this tutorial that will show you how to draw Venusaur, step by step. This is going to be intermediately complex to replicate, but nothing too difficult. I hope you have fun with it, and remember to rate, and comment on all the lessons you see before you today. Adios people, and enjoy the rest of your drawing day!
