How to Draw Ozai

1

Start with a small circle for the head, and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw out the wire framing for the body, and the clothes.

2

You can start using the face guidelines you drew in step one, to begin sketching out the shape of Ozai's face, and then his combed back hairstyle. Be sure to make an outline for the ear, and chin.

3

Draw the very stiff ponytail that is on top of his head, and also draw in the band that holds it in place. Next, draw the face by sketching out the eyes first, and then the nose, mouth, and eyebrows. Add some definition to the cheeks, and ear, and th

Continue to make layers of cloth for his cloak and then add the official Firenation design in the middle of the top flap.

5

Now you can draw the long sleeves like you see here. Take your time when you do this because it can be tricky. Once the long sleeves are drawn out, you can than move to the next step.

6

Here you will draw the rest of the cloaks design which is the torso, and waist. Next draw a sash, and the lip that hangs in front. Sketch out Ozai's hands, and then move to step seven.

This is your last drawing step. All you need to do now is draw the rest of the cloak, and cap off the ends with boarders that form into flames like you see here. Also, draw the stitch line for the sleeve too. You are now ready to erase the lines and

Now that you are finally done with this drawing, you can color him in, and make him a complete addition to your Last Airbender character collection. Great work guys!

Description: Well, it's official, there is now less than one month before the release of a very waited for movie that was directed by M. Night Shyamalan. The Last Airbender is going to be in theaters on July 2, 2010, and now I hear that it's coming out in 3-D as well. I can tell you one thing, I'm definitely going to see that movie the day it's released. Now, because it's getting close to the opening date, I had to do another character that is going to be in the new movie. He is the father of Prince Zuko and Princess Azula, and the brother to Uncle Iroh, who is the old man that accompanies Zuko everywhere he goes. You will now learn "how to draw Ozai", step by step. Ozai is the ruler of the Fire Nation, and he is usually called the Fire Lord by many, many people, including his own kind. From what I understand from Book one, Ozai banished his son Zuko because he refused to fight his own father. The tale says that Ozai purposely burned his sons face because he felt that he showed no respect, and did a cowardly act by refusing a duel. Not only did he permanently scar Zuko's face, he also banished him from Fire Nation, and told him not to come back until he conquered a feat that would take a miracle to accomplish, and that was to capture the Avatar who has been missing for one hundred years. Now, because Zuko values what his father thinks of him, he made a promise with himself to prove to his father, that he is no coward, and that he can do the impossible. Ozai is such an epic character, and so is the other cast members of Avatar. What I don't understand, is how the series is so underrated. You have absolutely no idea, how bad I want to see the movie. I'm going to be drawing two more characters from the series, and I hope you like what I have in store. The Fire Lord is one guy that I would definitely want to mess with. Did you know that it's believed that Ozai is probably THE most powerful Firebender in existence? Yup, it's true. Because Ozai was such a master with Firebending, he was soon recognized as being the greatest of all time. I hope you enjoy this tutorial on "how to draw Fire Lord Ozai", step by step. I will be back in a while with some more drawing fun so stay tuned in, and make sure you join me for another Live Stream drawing session. Peace peeps!
