As you know, drawing a horse head is a challenge. Hopefully this step will help you accomplish this task a whole lot easier. Start at the top facial guideline, and then work your way down. When you are done, the muzzle, and mouth should look just lik

Before you draw more of the horse's mane out, you will first need to draw the shape of the neck, and start the lining for the chest, and front leg. Once that is done you can draw in the eyes, color in the pupils, and then draw the nostril. Lastly, ad

Once you are done with this step, your simple horse will be that much closer to be finished. Finish drawing the back end of the horse, and then the belly. Next, draw more of the leg shapes, and then move to the next step.

Finish the back leg, and then draw in the hooves. After that you can draw the horses tail, and this can be done as long, or as short you want it. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your drawing.

Here is what the finished drawing looks like when you are done. Now it's time to choose a shade to color him/her in. Wasn't this such a simple way to draw a fantastic looking horse?

Description: Wow, that ninja skull was wicked cool that AnArmA submitted today, great work! Ever since I uploaded my first simple lesson a few weeks ago, I have been getting requests to do more of them. So that is why I will be doing some simple based lessons today. To start, I will teach you an easy way to "draw a simple horse", step by step. As many of you know, drawing horses is quite a challenge, and because of that, you always have to be persistent when it comes to drawing a horse. I think the hardest part to draw is their heads. The easiest part of a horse to draw is their manes and tails. Other than that, they are pretty much complicated. It took me a very long time to draw these animals to a point where they looked half way decent. To this day, I still have problems drawing horses, even the cartoon versions. Now that I explained to you the difficulties of sketching out one of these fine animals, let me shut up, and "draw a simple horse", so that you can be on your way of drawing something awesome, adorable, and colorful! I shaded in my horse a nice gray, with a white mane and a white tail. I think the solid colored horses with different colored manes are simply beautiful looking. If you follow this tutorial correctly, you should end up with a sketch that looks great too. I hope you guys have fun drawing a simple horse. Remember, when you draw simple stuff, your chances of becoming a better artist increases, just because you are taking your time, and moving in at a step by step pace. There is no such thing as starting out good, and becoming great. I have to go, but as you know I will be back. When I return, I will have more lessons for you guys to enjoy. Peace out people!
