1

Start by drawing out the shape of his head, and then add the one facial guideline. Next draw the wire like frame which consists of his neck, shoulders, arms, torso, and legs.

2

All you need to do here is draw out the pointed shaped face, and then add the eye lines. Once that is done you can sketch out the long bangs that wrap around his head.

3

Finish sketching out his hair style, and then continue to draw the eyes. As you can see he has a cocky look on his face. Draw the mouth, and then start sketching out his shirt collar, shoulders and arms.

4

Now that you have the top part of Joey drawn out, You can finish his upper body by sketching out his jacket, arm and or sleeve, and then draw the shirt.

5

Sketch out his pants and then be sure to draw the knee wrinkles. Next, draw the hand, and then add the detailing to the jacket like the pockets, and sticting. The shirt needs some ripples, and you can also add some detailing to the rest of his body.

6

In the end you should end up with a drawing that looks like the one you see here. Color him in, and you have finished this lesson on "how to draw Joey, step by step".

Description: This is going to be a fun lesson for me to upload because one of my family members is a big fan of this next character. I received a request to draw someone from Yu-Gi-Oh. His manga or anime name is Katsuya Jonouchi, but the English version name is Joey Wheeler. I can remember my brother telling me he was a big fan of Yu-Gi-Oh, and this was when he was eleven years old. Joey Wheeler is sixteen years old who attends Domino High School. Now, because Joey has a tendency to say anything that comes to mind, which is why he is always getting into some kind of pickle. I guess you can say he has earned himself a reputation for being a smart mouth, and that is what leads him to get into trouble. For those of you that are fans of Yu-Gi-Oh, you may remember how Joey was a bully to Yugi. Over time, he and Yugi become best friends, and because of that Joey drops his tough guy exterior and exposes himself in his true form. Now because I am no big fan of the series, I have to turn to my brother for info on certain characters that he is familiar with. As you know each character has their own deck of dual cards. In the beginning, Jonouchi had a deck that consisted mainly of warrior type monsters. Once he started training with Sugoroku Mutto, or Solormon, he slowly started to add more monsters to his deck. My brother also told me that a majority of his monsters are fire based, which means his signature monsters are all fire-type. Remember when I said that Joey's personality sometimes gets him in trouble? Well, to support his cockiness, the English voice of Joey Wheeler, has a Brooklyn, N.Y accent. According to my brother, Jonouchi or Joey is a cool character, and I think he's right. Today you will get the chance to learn “how to draw Joey Wheeler”, step by step. I think you will find this lesson easy to follow, and simple to understand. I will be back in a bit with more drawing fun. Peace out and have a happy drawing day.
