1

Draw a circle for the head, add the facial guidelines, draw another vertical line on the head, and then draw the shape of the rest of Torchic's body.

2

In this step you will sketch out the actual shape of Torchic's head, and once that is done you can draw in and color the bead like eyes, and then the beak as you see here.

3

To cover the opening of Torchic's head, draw the three leaf looking feather pieces you see here. Sketch in some smaller feathers in the front that is lowest to the head, and move on.

4

Now, sketch out the small feathered wings that looks more like a feathered collar. Once that is done you can draw the chic like feet which have three toes.

5

Draw the bottom of the chic, and then finish drawing the feet. Erase the lines and shapes you drew in step one that guided you to draw Torchic.

6

You are now ready to color in your newly drawn character, and be sure you have fun with it. Great job kiddies, and make sure you join me for another fun filled lesson.

Description: Oh boy, there is still three more lessons that I have to upload, and that is including this one. For my fifth tutorial I will be filling another request on a Pokemon character called Torchic. This species is a Chick Pokemon, and it is a fire-type. The cool thing about this species is the way it really looks like a chick. I say this because there is a ton of Pokemon that have these animal combo names, and they sometimes will look almost nothing like the animal they are supposed to look like. Torchics resemble small baby birds that are covered from head to toe in yellow and orange colored feathers. The wings look more like a ruffled collar under their necks which is due to them being underdeveloped. The only thing that these Pokemon use their wings for is to keep warm. As far as using them to fly with, that's a big fat no-way. The Torchic also has a three pronged flame like crown on top of their heads which sticks up like feathers. They are also able to breath fire from their beaks which is their special ability. What do these Pokemon Treecko, and Mudkip, have in common with Torchic? They are all starter characters in Pokemon Ruby, Pokemon Sapphire, and Pokemon Emerald. Neat huh? Anyway, this is a simple species to sketch, and in the end you will "draw Torchic with ease. Well, now that this fifth lesson is done, I guess I can move onto doing my least two. I bet you don't know who the tutorials will be on.
