How To Draw Skull Knight From Berserk

In this first step you will be drawing out the frame work for Skull Knight. Start by drawing out the shape of the skull which is a small ball shape. Then draw out the shape of the top of his armor as shown which looks like the shape of Stewie Griffon

In this step you will start top detail parts of Skull Knight's armor as well as the armor for his black horse. First you have to enlarge the sketch to see all the lines of detail that need to be drawn out. Start on the skull and detail his face and t

Description: This is a pretty cool tutorial on an image that took me like 5 hours to complete. I have a new tablet now so I am able to draw details a lot better and just sketch right on the tablet instead of scanning images into the comp. What I wanted to do is was draw something wicked cool that would look good in black ad white or in sketch form. My first sketch on my new tablet is going to be a tutorial on how to draw “The Skull Knight. He is a character from a dark fantasy Manga called Berserk. Berserk is an epic, fantasy graphic novel that follows Guts, a swordsman in a medieval setting. The main character Guts, goes on an intense journey which eventually leads him through bloody battlefields. He also is encountered by creepy demonic creatures of all sorts. The story is also about how he and many other characters have to live in a world that is politically corrupt and is on the brink of collapsing. The stunning detail work that is done in this epic adventure is truly amazing. Though Berserk was created by a Japanese writer, Dark Horse Comics along with Digital Manga began publishing Berserk in fall 2003. I found the image from some place that sells figures on characters from assorted games, books, and anime. The sketch represents everything I like; it has a horse, but not any horse, it’s a horse from beyond the grave with a skeleton like body but also very strong, broad, and bold. The rider is another favorite of mine, he is a knight, but not just any knight he is Skull Knight and he is without a heart or a soul. He travels when the skies are a devilish black, and hunts out others to appease his master. Or maybe this rider is a rouge knight who wonders the valleys and forest alone without no purpose or cause. This particular image can say a lot of things, depending on what kind of imagination the viewer holds, or how the viewer feels. I know the image wasn’t from my own imagination, but at least I added my own special touches. The one thing I do know about this particular skeleton knight is that throughout the story, the Skull Knight aids and saves Guts, who he refers to as "The Struggler", but his motives are still unclear. The comic is really a good read and I would recommend that you give it a shot if you don’t already. I don’t know to much about all the series because I just started reading Berserk, and so far all the characters are cool looking. In this tutorial I will show you how to draw Skull Knight from Berserk step by step. Even though there are a lot of steps, but the instructions keep you on the right path making it that much easier to sketch out your own Skull Knight. Have fun.
