You will draw a circle for his head, and then add the shape of his face. Next sketch out the shape of the torso, hips, extended arm, and then add the guidelines for the legs, gun, and feet.

2

Here you will begin sketching out the side of Chris's face, and then sketch out the front part of his hair. Once that is complete, you can begin drawing the shoulder, arm, and sleeve.

3

Sketch out the shape of his back which is actually his vest, and then finish drawing out his arms and hands which is gripping onto the grip of his gun. Next sketch out the rest of his head and hair, and the side of his face like the ear, eyes, and ey

4

Now as you know Chris has a muscular physic, so you have to convey this through art. Detail and define his upper, and lower arm as you see here and then sketch in all the detailing to his glove, and gun. Next, draw his waist and the back of his butto

5

Finish sketching out some more of his legs which is also is pants. The pants should be loose fitting, but not too baggy. Once that is done you can then draw the protective knee pads on both legs.

6

This is your last drawing step. Sketch out the rest of his pants and then draw in his combat boots. Add the laces, and then the souls. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your drawing!

7

Look how strong and handsome Chris looks now that you're done. All you need to do now is color him in. I do hope you had fun learning how to draw Chris Redfield. I will see you all again real soon with some more drawing fun.

Description: When I submitted the tutorial on Jill Valentine, I received a few requests asking if I can do a drawing lesson on her long time partner. So needless to say I will be showing you guys “how to draw Chris Redfield", step by step. Now like Jill, he was a former member of S.T.A.R.S., and is currently a BSAA operative. It's pretty clear that both Jill and Chris have decided to devote their lives to stopping bioterrorism that is created and often utilized by their immensely hated enemy, Albert Wesker. Wesker is the main protagonist of the Resident Evil game series, and he reminds me a lot of someone out of the Matrix. Chris is strong, bold, and determined, and that type of mentality runs in the family. His younger sister is Claire Redfield, and she is a member of Terrasave. It's hilarious to me the way that Chris and Wesker fight because they say some pretty obscene and off the wall stuff to each other. I know I should have probably drew Chris's actual face, but I know how hard drawing Resident Evil characters can be. Leon Kennedy was a bit complicated for some people as well. Jill wasn't that bad, but most female characters aren't because they have no muscle definition in their arms, or expressive characteristics as far as their faces goes. The drawing I did of Chris is kind of anime-ish, but all in all I think he came out pretty cool. I know you fans out their will have a blast learning "how to draw Chris Redfield" because I had fun drawing him out as well. I have some more lessons that will be going up today, and surprisingly one is on a famous wrestler. See you all on the beach guys!
