Let's start by drawing the body's frame for Jaden starting with the round shape for his head. You will then draw the facial guidelines which will then flow into the neck. Attach the neck to the torso shape and then draw the stick like arms, and legs.

2

Begin sketching out the front bangs for Jaden's big brown hair style. When that is done you can draw the shape of his face, and then begin drawing his jacket starting with the erect collar. Lastly, draw the shoulders, and add some minor detailing.

Finish sketching out Jaden's hairstyle and then add the definition lines to add body and texture. Next, use the facial lines to draw in his bog brown eyes, nose, and friendly smile. Add stitch detailing around the collar, and then draw some of the de

Finish drawing out Jaden's arms, sleeves, cuffs, and then draw the rest of his unbuttoned jacket. Next draw the hands, as well as the one card he is holding in his left hand. Add detailing to his black under shirt, and then detail his jacket as well.

Now you will draw his long, thin legs and sketch in the crease and or fold lines that defines the knees. Add definition to the crotch and then move to the next step.

6

Draw the bottom of the pants and make them fold like they are rolled up pant cuffs. Lastly, draw the sneakers. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Here is Jaden when he is done, all you need to do now is color him in. I love how you guys did, and I really hope you join me for another Yu-Gi-Oh drawing tutorial in the future.

Description: Yu-Gi-Oh! is an anime/manga cartoon series that has been airing for some time now and I have been getting requests lately for more tutorials on the characters from the series. So for the days first lesson I will show you “how to draw Jaden” or to be more specific, Jaden Yuki. He is a one of the more interesting characters of the manga and anime. Originally he was supposed to attend “Duel Academy” but got side tracked when he came into contact with Yugi Muto which in turn prolonged his voyage to the school. In both the manga and anime, Jaden has appeared in the very first episode, and chapter making him an original member of Yu-Gi-Oh. Along the way he has made some enemies as well as defeated plenty of opponents with various duels. Jaden also has a very specific image to upkeep that makes his appearance recognizable. His outfit is almost always a Slifer Red uniform that he likes to wear unbuttoned. He also has a deck box that he always has on him that is holstered above his waistline, he has brown eyes, brown hair, and a sometimes serious face. I think it would be appropriate to say that he is what you call a dueling fool. He loves dueling and if you watch the series or read the manga you will find that he is no quitter. Jaden will keep going like the Energizer Bunny no matter how difficult things may get. Drawing Jaden from Yu-Gi-Oh is going to be a fun experience, and I guarantee that once you draw him, you will want to draw others. The characters from the series have such awesome style, and semi-portioned bodies. I will meet you back here in a few with more drawing fun. Peace people, and don't duel too hard!
