Drawing a cop is basically pretty easy. Start with a circle for the top part of the head and then add the outlined shape of the neck and or double chin. You will then add the facial guidelines. Next, draw the broad shape for the shoulders, and as you

Now you will sketch out the police officers cap, and don't forget to draw the small badge that is in the middle of his hat just above the lid. Now start sketching out the shape of his head, and chubby face as you see here. Once that is done draw in t

Define the cops face and then sketch out the top portion of the uniform which in this case happens to be a short sleeves. Draw the pocket, badge, and tag above the pocket. Add a bit of detailing to the uniform shirt and then begin sketching out some

Finish sketching out the arms, and then the hands as you see here. The left hand is holding a frosted donut, but can draw him holding anything you want. Next finish sketching out the torso which includes the tucked in shirt and belt. His gun holster

Define his forearms to make them look big and thick and then sketch out the shape and style of the police uniform pants as you see here. There is no cuffs, just crease and wrinkle lines that need to be sketched in as well.

For your last drawing step all you have to do is draw the shape of his big, black shiny shoes. Detail the shoes by drawing some pretty thick soles. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your drawing on this law enf

That's it, you're done! you can start coloring in your drawing and be sure to make him look like a cop in your area. As you know, every officer has a different style uniform as well as color. Hope you had fun guys!

Description: I have a fun lesson for those of you that want to grow up and become a cop one day. My younger brother asked me if I could make a tutorial that could teach him “how to draw police, step by step”. It’s funny because when you think of the police, you are flooded with memories of a guy or girl that is dressed in a typical blue colored uniform, with big sunglasses, and a donut. The whole myth that cops turn on their sirens just to get coffee and donuts is still something that I have yet to get an answer for. I know that there is a lot of kids that come to this site, and I know that everyone at some point in their lives, always ends up drawing cops, tanks, guns, soldiers, firemen, and so on. It’s only right that I created this lesson because police officers are there to protect and serve their district communities to keep balance, and more importantly, to keep the peace. Although sometimes you do hear stories about good cops and bad cops, but there is almost never any solid proof that officers of the law don’t do their jobs to the full extent, and if there is, the crime is fought to the end and who knows what happens after that. There are cops that are very lenient, very strict, and very “by the book”. When I was a kid the local police that patrolled our area used to stop at the playground to hand out police badge stickers to all the kids playing. Not all of them would take the sticker because they are taught “not to talk to strangers”, which is a very good lesson to learn. Anyways, I think you guys will get a kick out this tutorial that will show you in detail “how to draw police, step by step”. I will be back with some more drawing fun so while the night is young, stay tuned in. Peace out, and happy drawing.
