How to Draw Alvin

Drawing Alvin is going to be easy. All you have to do is draw a circle for his head and then add the facial guidelines. Once that is done you can draw the shape of his lower jaw and or face. Next draw a bell shape for the outline of his body, and the

Now start sketching out Alvin's hat lid, as well as the cap. Next, start the lining for his eyes, nose, cheeks, and mouth.

Finish sketching out his eyes, draw in the pupils, and then sketch out the rest of Alvin's hat. When that is done you can start sketching out his thick noodle shaped hair, and then add the eyebrows. Sketch the rest of his face and add an ear. You wil

Wow, your already on step four. Finish drawing Alvin's mouth, and then draw his one tooth. You will then continue to sketch out his ultra long sweater that he always wears, and then draw his arms that go inside of his pockets.

Finish drawing Alvin's sweater, and then add some detailing. You will then lastly draw out his sneakers, and then add the detailing lines for his sneakers.

Draw a fold line and then draw out the big "A" on his sweater. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one so you can prepare your drawing for color.

Description: As of December 23rd everyone got “Munked” with Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel. I personally haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm already hearing that it is hilarious, adorable, and fun. The main character of the movie wears a red sweater with the initial “A”, and a red ball cap. He is stubborn, funny, talented, amazing, and cleaver. Of course I'm talking about Alvin, This tutorial will show you "how to draw Alvin, step by step”. I have a lesson on the complete trio that consists of Alvin, Simon, and Theodore, and in that tutorial, I talk all about how they became who they are today, and how they met Dave, and I also talked a little bit about the Chipettes. The reason why I did this drawing is because I know how popular Alvin is, and sometimes people will just draw Alvin from the other tutorial I have. Not only that but, I thought it would be cool to submit a tutorial on a more hip looking character like the one you see in the movie, just cartoonified. One of my favorite characters that appear in the flick is the Chipettes. They were always my favorite to watch when I would pop in a video cassette of the animated series that used to air on TV. In the squeakquel, Alvin and his buddies have some series competition brought on by their ex-uncle Ian Hawk. Alvin and his brothers have to go back to school, and try to fit in. I think you fans out there will take a liking to this lesson on “how to draw Alvin, step by step”. All the steps are laid out easily to make this tutorial as simple as possible.
