This is the last Star Wars character that I will be submitting today. After I'm done with this tutorial, I only have two more to go, and yes they are also awesome. Let's see, first I submitted Princess Leia, and then the Death Star. You will all now be learning “how to draw Luke Skywalker, step by step”. Luke has got to be one of the popular characters of Star Wars because if you think about it, the first two movies or parts IV and V, are basically all about him, and Princess Leia. Even though Star Wars was awesome, I really didn't get into part VI too much. I think it's because Luke started looking different, and the tension between the three was a bit subsided. The best thing about VI was the Ewoks. They where so incredibly cute because they looked like fury teddy bears. Anyway, Luke grew up with his aunt Beru, and his Uncle Owen on their moisture farm. Luke learned how to work and survive in the desert, and he also learned how to build, and repair droids. Now because he comes from the bloodline of a Jedi Knight, he often dreams adventure that leads him down a more exciting path. Tatooine had very little things for a kid like Luke to do. He hung around a circle of friends that did nothing but make-fun of him. He wanted to one day become a pilot like his father, or so he was told. It wasn't until he came across an old man by the name of Ben Kenobi, that he learned the truth about his father being a Jedi Knight. Who exactly his father was, still remained a mystery for young Luke until his life took a turn for the better, or worse? Loosing his aunt and uncle left him saddened, which led him to beg old Ben to take him along on his travels when Obi-Wan was informed by Leia via R2-D2, that he was needed, and it was a matter between life and death. The story gets deeper, darker, and more exciting as you watch the saga from IV, V, VI. Before you touch that DVD, you have to start this tutorial that will show you "how to draw Luke Skywalker”. It's not everyday you find an easy, fun drawing lesson on one of Star Wars main characters. I will be back with two more fun filled submissions. Peace out and happy drawing my Dragoart friends!
