Here is another favorite character of mine from the animated cartoon series The Flintstones, Bam Bam Rubble. He is a cute little toddler with the strength of Zeus’s son Hercules. This addition to the Rubble family was kind of weird. At first when Fred and Wilma had their daughter Pebbles, Barney and Betty where simply thrilled for them. After a while the couple tried having children of their own but where unable to. Betty longed for an infant just as Wilma had her little bundle of joy. So after many days of whimpering around the house and neighborhood, Betty and Barney Rubble had a surprise waiting on their door step, an abandoned baby boy. The two where simply shocked and amazed that their prayers had some how mysteriously been answered. Of course the child was dirty, so they did the natural thing a parent would do, they bathed him and gave him a fresh set of threads. At first the two had no clue what to name this little boy, then he did the inevitable, he said his first words “BAM BAM” that was it Barney knew right then and there his named was to be Bam Bam. When Fred and Wilma came over with Pebbles to congratulate and welcome the newcomer, Fred went over with his pal Barney to say hi. Fred put his hand out to reach for the boy and Bam Bam took Fred’s hand and lifted him up and smashed him on the ground from left to right saying “BAM BAM”. That is when they knew Bam Bam had the strength of 100 men. Bam Bam and Pebbles became close friends and play partners. When he got his first pet which was Hoppy the Hoparoo, Dino Pebbles pet dinosaur dog use to often babysit and look after the two toddlers in the back yard when they played. The show was a favorite of mine and I still watch them to this day. This fun filled tutorial will show you "how to draw Bam Bam", step by step. This little white haired fella will make a cute addition to your drawing collection.
