To start, you will need to draw a circle for the shape of the helmet itself. When that is done you can draw the bottom line shape and design as you see here. When that is done you can draw the line for the chin strap.

Now you will start drawing out the outlined shapes of the spikes that I added as a nice touch to make the German helmet look more militaristic. When that is done you can move to the next step.

Finish drawing out the actual shape of the German helmet and then when that is done you can draw the shape of the Nazi symbols box as you see here. Once the box is drawn you can then draw a circle and two lightning bolts in the middle. Lastly draw th

For your last drawing step you will draw and thicken the German helmets lid line as you see here. Once that is done you can then draw the shape and buckled in chin strap. Start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean

When you are done this is what your finished lesson on "how to draw a German helmet looks like. Color it in and that is it. I hope you guys had fun with this tutorial. I will be back later so join me next time for more drawing fun.

Description: Well, I can see that the tank was a big hit, and that is awesome to see. I guess I have to submit this next tutorial that is also German related, and I'm sure you will all enjoy it. To go with the Panzer tank, I will give you a lesson on “how to draw a German Helmet step by step”. This particular military accessory was worn by German soldiers during WWI, and WWII. The German helmet design is also used by many motorcycle owners as well and are sometimes referred to as a "peanut” because the helmet design is so small, unlike the bulky design that most bike riders wear. There is a series of helmets that was used by German soldiers during both world wars. In 1916 the German army first introduced their steel protective helmets and they were called the M-16 models. The M-16 helmet was made with a liner that was made of leather, and it was on a leather band. There was also the leather chinstrap that was attached to helmet by using lugs on the inside shell near ear soldiers ear position. The M-16 was also equipped with a bullet proof plate for added protection. Over the years more and more helmet designs came to pass and some of the German helmets came fully stamped with a Nazi symbol, or a symbol for commanding officers. A popular character that was created back in the late seventies wears a helmet/mask that resembles that of a German helmet. That character is Darth Vader from George Lucas's Star Wars. All in all learning "how to draw a German Helmet step by step" should be relatively easy to draw. All the steps are laid out in a simple format to make drawing the helmet less difficult. I will be back later with more drawing fun, in the mean time tackle this lesson on for size, and when you are done you can choose to make it a biker helmet, or add some cool designs on it like I did with the spikes. Peace out people and happy drawing!
