How to Draw Terminator

1

Start off by drawing a rough out line of the head and neck. Make sure you draw it very lightly in pencil, as all these lines will be rubbed out in future steps.

2

In this step, make the out lines neater, and do the basic shape of the eyes, mouth, cheekbone and forehead. Make sure that you get the proportions right on the face, as it will end up looking very strange if you don't.

3

Now add some more details like the nose, piston thingy, forehead indent, and some lines on the top of the head.

4

Now add some wires, more indents in the chin, the teeth, fix up the right piston, and some other random details. Make sure these are the right shape, and in the right place, ass these will look odd if they are not

5

Now add the many finishing touches. This step has quite a lot to add, so work from the bottom of the pic, to the top. No need to explain, just look at the picture.

6

This is the finished version. Shading metal can be quite difficult, so try and shade darker were I did, and lighter were I did. It is also handy to find a photo or another picture of a terminator to get the idea of were to highlight and were to lowli

Description: I got the idea of making this tutorial from anubus123. It is one of the terminator exo-skeletons from the terminator series. I love this series, as Arnold Schwarzenegger is my favorite actor and these are probably his best movies. The drawing in this tutorial is a photo from the new movie, "Salvation". I have not seen this movie, but I know that it sux because is doesn't have Arnie in it. This is a bit tricky to draw, so good luck. It is also quite tricky to shade, as the head is metal, so just try and copy mine. Good luck!!
