How to Draw a Cartoon Grim Reaper

Okay lets get started with this first step on your cartoon grim reaper. First draw a circle shape for the reaper's head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw out the shape for his body and or cloak that he wears. Once that is done yo

You will start this step by drawing the front line of the hood. Then you will use the facial guidelines that you drew in step one to draw in the eyes, nose and brow crease lines that you see in the middle of his face.

Finish sketching out the shape of the cartoon grim reaper's face by drawing out the jaw and adding detailing for the cheeks. You will draw in the teeth as well and then sketch out the rest of cloaks hood and then the long sleeves for the reapers arms

Draw the left skeletal hand and then the handle for the scythe. Once that is done you can draw the small skull that is being held by the grim reapers hand and then draw the hand itself.

Here is your last drawing step and all you have to do is finish drawing out the cloak being sure to rip up the bottom a bit and draw it to look like it is bending upward. Erase the gudielines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description: Well I hope you guys liked the lesson on "how to draw a cartoon monkey" that I submitted early yesterday. I am now moving onto another tutorial that was a big hit two days ago when I was drawing live. For my second submission I will be showing you “how to draw a cartoon grim reaper step by step”. There is already a lesson on a grim reaper but that is more like a tattoo version. I want to start submitting some cooler stuff that is easier to draw because I think that the lessons on the site now are a bit sedated. The coolest tutorial on the front page is the monkey hands down. I hope that these next submissions end up with positive feedback. Anyways the cartoon grim reaper that I will show you how to draw is pretty cool. He is holding a skull in one hand and his scythe in the other. I was going to make the scythe long like a typical looking weapon that the grim reaper walks around with, but I wanted to switch it up just a bit. The coloring is also subtle just like a cartoon character would be, and the graveyard is pretty sweet too. All in all I think that you guys will like this lesson that will show you “how to draw a cartoon grim reaper step by step”.
