How to Draw a Tribal Pumpkin Face

Step 1.

First draw a perfect circle and then add the guidelines for your jack-o-lanterns face you will be drawing in later steps. Once that is done you can then draw out the two wispy lines for the leaves of the pumpkins lid as seen here. Next and lastly draw a stem line.

Step 2.

You will now start drawing in the tribal design for the eyes and nose of the jack-o-lantern's face as you see here. You can make the eyes pointed like you see here, or you can draw them to be round in shape. The two eye shapes look like bat wings right now which is pretty cool.

Step 3.

Now you will sketch in the tribal designs in the middle of teh tribal pumpkins surface. The top of the design is in four parts and then the one solid middle piece, and then the beginning shapes of the mouth.

Step 4.

Now you will start sketching out the beautiful tribal shape of teh pumkin sheel itself. Ocne that is done you can then move to the next step to draw out the lid of the tribal pumkin. You can add more tribal detailing lines if you like, or leave it the way you see it here.

Step 5.

For your last drawuing step you will draw out teh shape of teh triabl pumkins lid and or stem. The stem is sketched out wicked cool and the wispy sides of the lid s also very nuice;y drawn. Once you are done you can then start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 6.

Here is what your tribal jack-o-lantern looks like when you are done. You can color it in using black marker, or you can print it out and use it as a carving stencil for your pumkin at home. Carving a tribal pumpkin is also a very cool idea as well. That is it for this lesson on "how to draw a tribal poumkin stepby step.

Today is the sixteenth of September which means there is a month and a half until Halloween. I wanted to start today’s tutorial day by submitting a lesson on “how to draw a tribal pumpkin step by step”. The pumpkin is colored in the same shades that are typically used for the Halloween season. I think that this drawing came out awesome and I know that you guys will like the lesson too because you can print out the line art of this drawing and use it as pumpkin carving stencil too. I figured that a tribal design on a jack-o-lantern would be a cool way to switch up the different types of art and drawings that you would normally see. As you know here at DragoArt, we are not your normal or typical art site. Instead we feel that being different and unique is the best way to be because that is how artists are. Every artist is different, there is not one person that is the same so why should this website be the same as every other drawing tutorial site out there. Drawing a tribal pumpkin is fun, different, and creative. You can switch up the face for your tribal jack-o-lantern if you choose to, or you can keep it looking the same way you see it here. I will be back later with more drawing fun. In the mean time get into the Halloween spirit by trying out this lesson on “how to draw a tribal pumpkin face step by step". You can even go to this place called "Zombie Pumpkins" and find a bunch of different stencils that you can use for carving your pumpkin by clicking here. The steps and instructions are easy to follow, and simple to read. Have fun and happy drawing!
