1

Draw three circles for the shape of Mighty Mouse's body like you see here. Add the facial guidelines and then draw the guidelines for the left and right arms, and the leg.

2

Now you will start sketching out the shape and size of the head which includes his ears, brow, and left cheek. Draw in the eyes and color in the pupils. Add an eyebrow and then draw some of the right shoulder.

3

Draw Mighty Mouse's nose and then his great big friendly smile. Add a dimple in the chin and move on.

4

Detail the right ear and then draw out the left and right arms and hands. Once that is set draw the cuffs of his sleeves and then draw the shape of his chest. Draw the ends of the cape and then draw the lining for the belt and left leg.

5

You will now draw the bottoms of Mighty Mouse and then draw his legs and feet. Once that is done you will add some detailing to the shoes.

6

For your last step all you need to do is draw out the left side of the cape and then finish the belt. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your drawing.

7

When you are done with your drawing you should get something that looks like the image you see here. Color him in and you are all done with this lesson on "how to draw Mighty Mouse step by step".

Description: Here is a cartoon character that I heard a lot about from my parents. There is so much “now” characters out and submitted on the site, and not enough of “then characters” drawn out. There is this one cartoon that my parents talk about whenever they see my brothers and or sisters watching TV. “You guys should have been around for Mickey Mouse” they used to say. We were always like “who?”. After about thirty times of hearing that I just had to go and watch some of this cartoon that they were always rambling about. So after that being said I will show you “how to draw Mighty Mouse step by step”. Mighty Mouse has got to be one of the coolest heroes I have ever seen as a simple cartoon figure. He is as small as a mouse, with the might and power of Hercules. He can even fly around like good old Superman, and he even has heat vision like a lot of the comic book characters we see nowadays. This incredible mouse was created by a guy named “Izzy Klein”. Originally Mighty Mouse was named “Superfly” and he wasn’t a mouse at all, he was more like a housefly instead. After consideration for a cartoon series, the housefly was turned into a cartoon mouse. It makes you wonder, why would they make a cartoon of a hero mouse that has almost the same exact powers and abilities as Superman? The answer to that question is easy, they initially made Mighty Mouse to be a parody character of Superman. Mighty Mouse made his first screen debut in 1942. Even a cartoon mouse super hero needs a villain that he can go after all the time right? Well they did just that. An evil cat named “Oil Can Harry” who was the “Lex Luther” of the show. When I watched a few of the cartoons I thought it was great and even a bit epic. The series has one of the most catchiest opening songs I have ever heard in a cartoon ever. It goes like this “Mister Trouble never hangs around, when he hears this Mighty sound. "Here I come to save the day" that means that Mighty Mouse is on his way. Yes sir, when there is a wrong to right Mighty Mouse will join the fight. On the sea or on the land, he gets the situation well in hand“. I really did have a ton of fun drawing out this eighties character. I say eighties character because during the eighties Mighty Mouse came back in a bigger way, with a better image. I hope you guys too will have fin with this tutorial on “how to draw Mighty Mouse” step by step. I will leave you with this lesson for now but I will return later. Peace out gang and happy drawing!
