1

Draw a circle for the star shape and then add the five star point lines and then the one vertical line. Next draw the outlined shape of the wings.

2

Now you will use the guidelines you drew in step one to draw out your nautical star. When this is done you can start sketching out the tribal flames that engulf the nautical star.

3

You will now start sketching out the definition lines for the wings and then when that is done you can move to the next step. You are almost done.

4

This is your last drawing step and all that needs to be done is coloring in the nautical star and then start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

5

When your drawing is done you should come out looking like the one you see here. Color it in and you have finished this tutorial on "how to draw a winged star step by step".

Description: Another tattoo design coming your way that is cool and colorful. I am going to show you "how to draw a winged star" step by step. Now many of you may not know what a winged star might be. This tattoo design is basically a star whether it be a regular star, or a nautical star. The star is then backed with a full set of wings and even a ribbon banner as well, but my design does not include the ribbon. My design is really quite simple, and I have a feeling that it will be well liked, and drawn by many. The background of the tattoo was a pink color, but after careful review I decided that it wasn’t at the right contrast to enable the tutorial to look good. I also drew a nice flow of tribal flames under the nautical star as you will see because they are colored black. The wings are very simple to draw and so is the star itself. This tattoo design is noticed and recognized through the tattoo community as well as in pop culture. You can add your own personal touches if you wish to make the design more you, or you can leave it the way it is and just mess around with the colors. Now because I’m a girl I naturally colored the winged star with some girly shades, but this art can very well be for a young man too. I will leave you to your decisions as I part for the time being. Have fun learning from this lesson on “how to draw a winged star step by step”. Peace out people and happy drawing.
