1

Draw a circle shape for the cartoon kings head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw out the guidelines for the king's robe and then the lining for the arms.

2

Use the facial guidelines to draw the eyes and nose and then color in the pupils. Draw cheek lines under the eyes as well.

3

Now when you are finished with this step your king will start looking like Santa Clause. Draw the curly lines for the cartoon kings hair and then draw out the busy mustache.

4

Finish sketching out the long curly hair for the cartoon king and then start drawing out the cartoon crown.

5

Draw a bottom lip and then draw out the long bushy beard. Draw the arm lines that are inside of the robes sleeves. Once that is done you can move to the next step.

6

Here is your last drawing step and all you have to do is draw out the jewels in the crown and then draw the cute chubby hands. Finish drawing the kings robe and then add the trim for the robe. Erase all the guidelines that you drew in step one.

7

Here is what your king should come out looking like when you are done. Look how nice your tutorial on "how to draw a cartoon king step by step" came out looking. Color him in and your done.

Description: Kings and queens rule over lands and kingdoms. There are so many movies, tales, and stories out there whether it be true or false that contain a king or a queen. Since many, many children love drawing kings, queens, prince, and princess, this tutorial will focus on showing you "how to draw a king", step by step. I do have a lesson on a queen and she came out awesome. There is a site that you can learn all about a King before starting this lesson. It's funny how such a subject becomes so interesting. Anyways, cartoon kings are great to draw because you can place them in a number of drawings. For instance, I could draw this cartoon king and in the background I could put a castle, a throne, a horse, or even a jousting match. I had a lot of fun drawing this king and I plan on doing a tutorial on a cartoon queen, princess and prince. All the steps are laid out very simply so that you will have no problems drawing out this friendly looking king. Well once again you will witness my departure, but I leave behind this submission on “how to draw a king”, step by step. Peace out people and happy drawing.
